There’s a requirement that games must have diverse casts and characters? Oh, there’s not? Well then surely game designers must take creative input from players and include all those ideas in the game, right? No?! You mean games are works that the creators can do whatever suits their own narrative and choices? Well…

So serious question: If CD Projekt has to eat these refunds how much of a hit can this company afford to take? Looking at their financials from 2019 they had $1.4 billion in total assets and $482 million cash and cash equivalents. Could this actually put the company in any kind of jeopardy?

I’m sorry, but the Cyberpunk hate dogpile is getting out of hand. Yes the base PS4 version isn’t the best it could have been, but it was NOT so bad it needed to get pulled off the PSN store. They didn’t pull Assassin’s Creed Unity or Fallout 76 and both were MUCH worse off. Not to mention Tony Hawk 5.

I was only kind of interested in it. I ended up buying it on Stadia because a) it plays well there, and b) free Chromecast and Stadia controller. Since they don’t share watch numbers, you can never be sure how well a Netflix original is actually doing. The fact that they made this shows they’re deeply invested, and that maybe the show is (hopefully) a success. This makes me happy, I am down for more of this show.
