If there’s no correct answer or more than one correct answer then it’s always e) all of the above.
It’s not about how fast you can go, it’s about how little you slow down.
“You shot Church, you team killing fucktard!”
I’ve heard the engine referred to as the Eco OR Boost just to give some context to the argument.
Australia: “OK, you’ve got to notify Tennis Australia, the national and state governments that you’ve satisfied all requirements. Don’t worry about not being vaxxed, you’ll be right mate.”
Two of the factors for turbo lag are the size of the turbo (larger turbo is akin to a larger flywheel - it takes longer to spin up), and the distance the exhaust gasses have to travel through exhaust headers to arrive at the thing.
The charging infrastructure is already there in most cases. Most marina berths have shore power for charging house batteries and to keep the fridge running. Same for private berths - but it wouldn’t be hard to add. Trailer boats are brought home in nearly every case, so hook ‘em up once the Tesla is good. You’re not…
I rented an electric boat a while ago and found it to be remarkably pleasant. They were silent, responded well to the throttle (max torque at 0 RPM), and stable owing to the batteries acting as ballast somewhere under the floor.

My take is that this and the Touareg were platform vehicles. Technology and performance showcases for VAG. They demonstrated a level of performance, comfort, engines and tech that VAG could produce. They trickled into their other luxury brands. And in the Touareg, features that, at the time, nobody thought to ask for…
Or you can use a crappy car and chuck in a crate engine, all the suspension mods, and best everything with no thought to tuning or handling because ABS, AWD and traction control makes it driveable and competitive again.
Recovery driver here (motorcycle racing), and I think this is about my worst nightmare.
This needs more stars.
When I see “military spec” and “reliable” used on the same vehicle I wonder - it might be reliable when on a military-spec maintenance regime, but is it reliable for anyone else who wants to flog it for six months to a year without thinking about maintenance.
