WOT isn’t that uncommon an expression when talking motorbikes - I mean, you can’t “firewall it” or “floor it” riding a motorbike (one with conventional controls anyway).
How else are you going to make an EV leak?
For some reason I want to hear that story from the perspective of the Navy pilot who had no idea that he was about to get massively owned by an SR71 that happened to be in the area and on the same frequency.
This is my personal review of productreviews.com:-
Engineer: On this machine, the last thing going through your mind will be your own arse.
I doubt that he will be thanked for his service, whether or not the marshals appreciated it.
The best thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from.
Technically, both of those places were inside the Corolla.
“you don’t often go long distances, but occasionally you want to”
While I understand that your comment is exaggeration, I also can’t escape the feeling that a simple software update could change the character and behaviour of the autopilot completely, just as a firmware update sometimes changes previously familiar functions of your phone.
Expensive? I’m not so sure. Overengineered? - yeah probably. Mirror assemblies cost far more than they should already, and they contain moving parts, motors and little plastic gears that wear out. A CCD costs very little, and won’t require any moving parts. Cars are already full of LCD’s, so no great expense incurred…
Logitech would probably be a more apt description - it’s... like something out of a video game in that there’s no way something so light could have a mechanical connection to an actual gearbox.
My parents had the Festiva Trio 1.5. The light body and Nintendo gear shift made it a hoot to drive. The video-game gearshift meant you would flick it through the gears just for the fun of it, only I had a slightly unnerving habit of occasionally bashing it into reverse trying to find a sixth gear that wasn’t there.…
They can be fitted with tow bars (hitches, whatever you call them). I saw a Model X displayed in the local mall that was parked next to a dual-axle trailer housing the promotional gear. I was ready to be That Guy and make a joke about whether or not it towed the donger there for itself - and saw the tow bar with…
800 miles in two days must be hard. We’ve regularly done 1000km (630 miles or so) Brisbane to Sydney, since the kids were newborn. We do it in two nights, since only one overnight is too hard on the kids. We tow a camper trailer, so it’s not like we’re paying for motel/hotel accommodation along the way. It’s usually…
I admire the technological prowess of a team that can make a self driving car but can’t replace a brake light bulb.
It’s instant whiteout when those things go off in an enclosed space. It’s also terrifying for an instant until you realise what’s just happened.
Having travelled in similar small RV’s, headroom is rarely a problem, no matter what your height. Watch how even a shorty Jason moves around in there - there’s no reason to stand up to full height because everything is down so low. The only way to use the ‘galley’ is to either kneel or sit on the seat beside it.…
I’m also seeing a Dodge Challenger breach birth from the rear end.
