This was my first thought too. I drove an F360 for a day, and it struck me that the half-moon shape of the rearview mirror on that also perfectly matched the ‘aperture’ of the rear window. Maybe it’s one of those discreet Ferrari styling things.

YES! And The Hire is my favourite of all of them. I understand that the BMW films were Luc Besson’s inspiration for The Transporter.

The first problem with this setup is that mere ability to drive a ‘stick’ still wouldn’t be good enough to jump into this contraption and drive it away. Hand throttle, hand clutch, foot shifter...? It would take months to get used to.

First the Grovel, now this.

Are you saying that it...

Boats generally don’t need an air filter - there isn’t enough dust over water to cause problems. That thing is more likely a flame arrestor, to stop backfires from setting fire to the engine cowl, and contain any vaporised fuel from escaping and igniting. On engines where the intake isn’t shrouded, they stop water

I had a tour bus convinced that Wilhem Ausfahrt was the engineer credited for the design and construction of the Autobarn system shortly before WWII, and of the exits were all named in his honour.

I’m a regular marshal (recovery driver) - riders like to stay fit, and they need to learn the track. It also gives them a chance to examine every bump and ripple (usually so they can complain to clerk of course). The track is open once the days racing is over, so it makes sense to use it.

V91.07XA: Burn due to water skis on fire, initial encounter.

He just wanted to get closer to the V4 sound. Can’t blame him.

Morgan Park, Australia. It’s a great track, and a really good club-level racing community.

The lesson I was taught by advanced riding instructors is that the front brake is for power, the rear brake is for control. Use more rear at low speeds to stabilise the bike - it causes the suspension to squat down, this elongates the wheelbase and gives more stability. The front brake compresses the forks, which

The tank bag’s also good for things you might need quickly, such as a camera, or money for fuel stops. Most types can be unzipped without first taking off your gloves. I sometimes have a bag of jelly beans to dip into on longer trips.

Downhill section, left hand clutch in, right hand reach down.

I drive recovery vehicle at a race track. The problem isn’t so much catching and flipping, its that if/when they catch, they can distort or wreck the frame completely at the point where they are bolted to the frame. They don’t offer much advantage on a track bike in seriously high speed offs. They also add weight and

Great. In-app purchases are in our cars now.

I definitely have to agree with adjusting your pace. I had one when working in remote western Queensland (we call it a Star Wagon). i had to do a 400km a day round trip in it, mostly dirt, with no fuel available along the way. It meant doing no more than 100km/hr if I wanted to make the whole trip on a single tank of

I used to read every Cracked article and get a laugh from most of them. Now they are just dark and depressing and express opinions that reflect very little understanding of their subject matter.
