They basically wrote April Ludgate as a reflection of Aubrey Plaza.  I’ve been incredibly impressed with her range and ability she’s demonstrated in other projects (most notably but not limited to Legion).  She really is very talented.

This movie is incredibly silly but I liked it all the same.  Possibly because I’m a big fan of anything Charlize Theron does.  Even when she mails it in, she’s good.

I enjoyed it too (the first two seasons anyway.  The third season seemed a bit rudderless).  I just get a chuckle from that picture.

I liked Graham but I think one of the weaknesses of Chibnall’s show is that there are too many companions. This wasn’t a problem back in the early days of the First Doctor traveling with Susan, Ian and Barbara because as audience surrogates, no one expected them to get anything more than the most cursory backstories…

Yeah but that voice just undercut all of the physical presence that Prowse provided.  Carrie Fisher famously called him “Darth Farmer” on the set of the first movie.

I must have missed On The Air, however Rabbits is definitely not a sitcom, despite the presence of a laugh track.

I hope it’s a wacky sitcom.
