@lostarchitect: Yes, it is a female thing. Unless you scrub it with hot water and soap, it's not clean.

My only critique for this is the choice of "season". The way I see it, seasoning and caring for your cast iron is like cooking a meal. Everyone does it a little different than everybody else, and likes their method best, and usually defends it as such.
