God I wish I had finished Rule of Rose. The combat was so bad that I got stuck in a particularly combat-heavy portion and gave up. I’d love to see a remaster that gets rid of combat completely.
Fun Fact: This was originally going to be Clock Tower 4, but Capcom decided to make it it’s own series. I loooved this game as a teen and now I badly want to play it agian. It’s perfect: Campy, weird, and creepy. It never takes itself TOO seriously, but it’s not afraid to go where it wants.
