THIS. Bad enough that they fucked up, but that they/one of them attempted to alter a legal document to cover it up should mean complete revocation of their license to practice, permanently.

That is horrifying. And then to only get a suspension? They should both lose their licenses and the one guy should be tried and sent to jail for altering the form.

*And falsified documents of consent AFTERWARDS. They should both permanently lose their licenses.

Christ on cracker. The thought that these fuck nuts could be reinstated and/or perform surgery again at all (and so soon) is god damn bone chilling. They should lose their licenses for falsifying records and lying. No patient in their right mind would ever willingly trust these scum bags again.

Once again, the foxes protecting the hen house. Doctors should have lost their licenses for years, if not forever. They ruined a persons life, why should they get away with just a slap on the wrist? ‘Accidents’ such as this should not be swept under the table. Serious consequences should be forced upon these shameful,

If these surgeons have removed a man’s penis without his consent, I suspect the outrage would be such that they’d lose their licenses entirely.

Highgate Private Hospital. So he may well have done, unless it was one of those situations where the NHS pays a private hospital to take someone off their waiting list. Fucking butchers, whatever the case.

Thank you for clearing this up- I agree there was malice coming from their attempt at a cover up that was poorly worded on my part

Google says that a metoidioplasty is the process by which the former clitoris is shaped into a penis.

“Garaffa’s license has been suspended for five months; Capece has been suspended for a full year.”

5 MONTHS?!?!

What a violation and nightmare.  Those suspensions are a joke.

Oh fuck off. Do you know how long and hard it is to adopt? A coworker has been trying since they started here 4 years ago, and is only now close to being able to bring a child home.

One of the (many) things that infuriates me about this is how shocked so many people are about the reality of the aftermath of childbirth. There’s so much emphasis on the woman throughout the whole process: conception, pregnancy, preparing for childbirth, the actual birth, that no one thinks to educate the (usually

I took everything that wasn’t nailed down but no, they’re not stocking you for the next several weeks and not all of it is thoughtfully designed for usability. Also depends on the hospital.

Just tried to share this on Facebook and it got denied for violating rules of nudity and sexual activity. WTF, man?

Gosh that brings back memories. I had two c-sections but I remember that underwear, topped with a binder that was supposed to support my abdominal muscles as they healed. I remember my first shower post-partum and feeling like the minute I took off the binder my intestines were going to burst through my skin and spill

My wife gave birth to our first last year. It was mind blowing how much the female body goes through to perpetuate life. I’ve never been more humbled. Watching your child be born is like being shown the center of the universe — and an abject lesson that while there is a center of the universe, it if definitively not

I had 3 thoughts about this commercial. 1) As a man with a wife and two grown daughters, I quickly learned and understood that males should not have any say in what a women can do with their bodies. This commercial just adds another reason for my belief. 2) I didn’t see anyone else in that bed, regardless of who that

That’s a wonderful ad. It’s informative, tells the truth, and offers a product that can help so many.
