Also to be fair of the Rock, he’s been calling people “Candy Asses” for the last 20 years in the WWE. That also included his friends when he was babyface.

My old s2000 never had an oil consumption problem. The 2.0l AP1’s were a bit more prone to that, but a switch from Mobil1 to Castrol usually fixes that issue. I ran my AP2 to redline every chance I got, mostly because that was the only way to keep up with traffic :p
It’s to delineate the type of tires. Formula one requires that at least 2 different tire compounds are used every race. White = Hard, Yellow = Medium, Red = Soft.
“I think Ericsson hit me!”
Yup can confirm about the dust. Fellow PNW person here. It’s really dry here in the summer time. The mix of dust, pollen, ash from the wildfires (at least for the last couple of years) makes a great slurry for the road.
Here we go again...
You have to do a bit of pre-soaking with the solution for tired poop or dirt to come off. I take the sponge, wet the poop and let is sit for a few minutes to basically re-hydrate. It should comes off without much hassle after that.
I also love the fact that I can do all of my normal car routines in the wintertime. I live in the Northwest, which doesn’t get that cold, but rains a bit. I can still properly was and wax the cars in the [relative] comfort in my own garage.
+1. I’ve been using this stuff for the better part of 10 years. You’ll need to be a bit careful when it comes to dried on stuff like bird poo (like a good pre-soak usually does the trick).
I’ve got a Germany buddy that does both. When he’s talking to regular ‘Mericans, he says “Porsch”. When he’s talking to other Germans or car nuts, he says “Porsche” with emphasis on the short “eh” sound.
Don’t hesitate, just do it! A 911 is great because you love the experience, not because you wan to “stand out”.
I totally agree. The overall attitude reflects in everything. From the garage, service, and overall vibe of the place.
Not that this is a super fair comparison, but the shop I go to occasionally is a bit extreme when it comes to cleanliness. I wouldn’t have a problem eating off the floor of this place: https://cantrellmotorsport.com/
While that is true, I didn’t think anyone wanted to see pictures of my Sienna minivan or the Subaru Forester. Both great cars for what they are, but kind of “blah” 😊
I take my son to his middle school evey morning. More times than not, we are in this thing (2003 911 turbo). It’s loud, lowered and a bit obnoxious for the school drop off line.... and we both love it :)
Hey, that’s a Toyota 86 with a Honda S2000 engine! I can’t tell if it’s a F20 or a F22... Need more info on this one.
Shopping at Menards is something I really miss since moving out to the west coast. I loved shopping for power tools and a box of moon pies in the same store!
... also chain smoking Marlboros
Well, it did leave a “surprise” in the back seat, so ... maybe?
Gotta say, 911 Turbos in stock form sound like vacuum cleaners with gravel bits stuck in there somewhere
