Came here to say this :)

I just went from a S200o to a 996 Turbo for that reason as well... hmm, I think I have to change my username...

Kudos for using an image of the Schiphol airport in Amsterdam :)

I’ve had a few of those instances too. They’re similar in size, so I can’t blame someone for not seeing the differences at a glance. What really makes me laugh is when I get questions about the car once they realize is NOT a Miata and ask “Did Honda start making theses recently?”

I second this!

I really like the M56. Mine is a 2011 that I picked up used with ~75k miles about 1.5 years ago. It’s super comfortable and have lots of room from when my kids are with me. I don’t have the sports package with the optional 19in rims, so my ride is probably a bit softer than that version. The V8 is strong and the car

+1 on the off lease deals! Can’t wait for the Q50 Redsport versions to start popping up.

I’m in the Seattle area burbs. We have tons of BMWs, Audis, some Mercs, but very few Infinitis. Don’t get me wrong, I like the brand as an owner of a M56x, but they’re just not that common here.

I’m genuinely surprised by how many Q50s Infiniti moved in Q4. I don’t see many of those on the road at all. Perhaps it is because I see so many 3 series from many model years that that all kind of blend into one type of car subconsciously

Came here to post this! That was an epic build and required tons of custom fab. Definitely not bolt on :)

I had a similar experience in my old 2010 Infiniti G37. If you just LOOK at the paint, swirl marks appear. Nissan / Infiniti have well known issues with their paint quality.

Or only the BEST law firm ever!

C’mon, can’t be that hard, right? Some hay, change the oil every 5k miles, rotate the horseshoes every 7.5k miles... wait what site am I on?

I was just thinking the same thing. I don’t see the corrosion, rust, or other patina that would have formed over the nearly 3 decades, that thing looks like it was crashed last week.

I think I remember that story! It was Brad Williams (stand up comic) that went to Brazil for the world cup a couple of years back.

How does Sam Smith not have his own TV show somewhere (maybe I’m just not aware..)

That made my day! I can’t look at the “sell your kidneys on the internet” guy and not laugh.

The HF pads are just “OK”. I use the Chemical Guys pads with the HF DA polisher. It’s really a great tool, especially when you consider the price versus a Porter Cable.

Thanks for the run down! I think I can certainly make the case financially and I’m getting close to making the mental choice to buy the NSX.

I need some pointers from you for going from a S200o to a NSX. Hoping to not have to go into couples therapy because of that purchase :)
