It’s your window to weight gain!

I can’t get over how much air the cars get running over the curbs! It also doesn’t seem to unsettle the cars very much either. They’re definitely tracking to the racing line even on 2 wheels.

Totally agree. People look at data, but they buy due to their perceptions since that’s the reality they live in.

I’m with you. It’s just one more thing I have to get tinted so I don’t get blinded by the setting sun.

I’m catching a bit of a Jenson Interceptor too:

That made me giggle more than it should have :)

I saw this one on a Science Channel show. The oldie has a mechanical advantage since it’s hitched at a higher point as compared to the newer tractor. It’s effectively pulling AND lifting the rear wheels of the other tractor up and reducing the available traction.

Love the Gina Grad reference! I think it was via a 2nd hand Jay Cutler quote.

I really miss CraigieFerg on late night. I also miss the horse and robot :)

Give him a break. He drove a million miles

I’m wondering what happens during the race, since you have to be within 1 sec at the detection zone. How does the driver know? Does the team tell him over the radio that he can push the DRS button?

Adam’s reasoning is that the Newman car is one of one. There’s no telling when it may come up for sale again. The Lambos on the other hand are more readily available, so if he wants another one, he can buy one more easily. He, he admits that he will most likely pay more to get the Lambos in the future, but they

While I don’t disagree with you, one can do worse on the douche meter than an Infinti. I went from a G37 sedan to a BMW 328... I feel WAY douchey-er in the 3 series. Can’t wait to ditch the BMW.

Great read and thanks for sharing your experience!

I’ve only seen R33s and R34s in Canada. I think their import rules are more lax than the US. I’ve seen a R32 with the R33 front end conversion around here. Not the prettiest thing in the world :)

+1 for the screenshot of the car on Laguna Seca! To this day, that’s the only track that I have managed to memorize after all of the GT and Forza I’ve played. I have fond memories of trying to get all of the different Skyline variants in GT. It got a bit ridiculous since there way too many of them. My fav one was

When I was growing up in Taiwan, we didn’t have baby seats. Although no one uses their seat belts either. This was in the late 70's, so I’m not sure how it was in the states during that time.

Ouch! Hang in there. It gets better once the kiddies get to about 2 or 3 and are big enough to face forward in whatever seat they are in. It does open up the possibilities of “family friendly”.

I can’t imagine having to put a baby seat in a Fiesta. Sure if no one is in the front seat it’ll be ok. I know people do what they have to do if they don’t have the means to move to a bigger car.

You might want to do a test fit in the Mustang. When we started down the whole kid path, I was shocked about how large and cumbersome these child seats were. I don’t miss those days!
