The Left Hand of the Son of Coul

The last few media interpretations of Harvey have gone the route of “he’s an elected official” in adding a bunch of negative attributes to him (Beware the Batman, Harley Quinn) and I’m excited to see where they go here with this take.

sometimes I think Paul Dini is the real reason behind Batman TAS’s success

Agreed and I think that analogue with this Batman can add some new dimensions to a character that has been increasingly stale for decades now.

Seems like there should be a “Does The Wookiee Die?” site for Star Wars things.

Did not think I’d like his take as much as I did.

Well, no not all of it lol

I’m glad to see this show getting another shot. Sure it’s geared towards kids but I think it had potential so I’m looking forward to it.

You had me at Clancy Brown.

Gotham City is my favorite comic book character. I enjoy Batman and The Joker (and wouldn’t complain if they showed up), but Gotham is what I get into. I genuinely dig Reeve’s version of this corner of the DC universe and I’m all in on this show.

I would guess that won’t be until episode 7. It’s same director as episode 3, and it seems likely that he was responsible for shooting both halves of the flashback story in one block.

It’d be a helluva thing if all the Jedi on Khofar got wiped out in the opening of the next episode and that’s why no one knew about the Sith surviving until a century later.

OMG when the credits started rolling I shouted at the TV, “NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!”

And now I must sit quietly for the next week patiently waiting for what comes next.

In before all the “culture war” nonsense comments- I’m enjoying the series for what it is.

Cute little guys has literally been a staple of star wars since Yoda was introduced in Empire. Then you had ewoks, Droid troopers, bb8, those penguin things in Last Jedi, and babu friik. So like, this is nothing new. Merchandising was also a huge aspect of star wars, so much so I’m pretty sure Lucas wrote it into his

I think you just wrote the 2020's Sci-Fi version of the 2000's Scary Movies...

I’ll believe it when I see it. There has been a number of false starts over the years, and I’m not sure that many people still want a sequel to Spaceballs. Odds this movie ever comes to fruition are very, very low.

They are so dumb that they need someone else to tell them what to be mad at.

Gizmodo was recently bought out by a separate company that now owns us and not Kotaku, so yeah we’re gonna be covering gaming news separately now.

Whenever I see a story like this I’m just so grateful I managed to quit driving.

I mean, of course the bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom is going to fight differently than the bearer of the Triforce of Courage. Fuck the haters.
