The Dragon Quest and Nier teams seems to be doing a great job, and I think people have been generally pretty happy with the Octopath and Triangle Strategy teams. Also, the FF Pixel Remasters seemed to be very well received, so I kind of think a lot of this is them going back to their roots as a JRPG company.
