It would mean the end of all social media. If every platform was legally liable for everything said on it, they would all shut down immediately. It just wouldn’t’ be possible for any social media to operate in that environment.

Definitely wishful thinking. I think they will want to do something for the 25th anniversary, and I hope it’s something with a classic game, but still definitely wishful thinking.

The one that has been bugging me for years is Persona 3, but at this point, I am just waiting for some kind of re-release. For the 25th anniversary of Persona next year I am really hoping to see something finally done with it. Every once and a while I pull my Vita out with the plan to play the portable version but I

It shouldn’t. The CPU is almost exactly the same so it all comes down to the GPU which is the same architecture as the Series X, just 1/3 the power. Theoretically, 4k takes 4x the GPU power to render as 1080p, but in practice it’s closer to 3x, so a 1/3 power Series S should be able to do everything at 1080p the

It’s not usually an issue because developers usually target consoles, since those account for 70-80% of the sales for a typical game. It’s far more likely to see a PC version being held back by the consoles power, or be very poorly optimized because the developers focused on consoles. Cyberpunk is a rare game that was

So serious question: If CD Projekt has to eat these refunds how much of a hit can this company afford to take? Looking at their financials from 2019 they had $1.4 billion in total assets and $482 million cash and cash equivalents. Could this actually put the company in any kind of jeopardy?

It’s anecdotal, but most of the people I know who have picked these games up have got them when they are on a deep sale. It seems like by the time the game is good, it’s something like $5.  I guess they are relying on microtransactions to make their money, but still, it seems to be not a great model.

But it’s not capitalism, it’s something else. Capitalism requires free markets. China is benefiting off the free markets while using a government planned economy in their own market, all while influencing the capitalist world. It’s creating this weird new economy that the capitalist world doesn’t know how to counter.

Does it look amazing on PC though? After seeing it on ultra I can say it is a pretty game and one of, if not the most, technically impressive game I have ever seen, but the visuals don’t blow me away in the way Rise of the Tomb Raider’s opening did, or the farm house scene in The Last of Us 2 did, or the bridge scene

This game is becoming CD Projekt’s The Last Jedi. It’s ripped the fan base in half and is being defended to the end of the world by people who absolutely love it while being ripped to utter pieces by extremely disappointed long time fans. Also like The Last Jedi, it’s making a ridiculous amount of money, but I have a

They showed it at at Xbox show at e3 2018 as an Xbox One game. Then again at the Xbox show in 2019 with all Xbox marketing. So either they were scamming people and lying to them about it targeting Xbox at that time, or it has been in development for console for far longer than 6 months.

Insomniac is pretty close

Looking at the GPUs in the new consoles, they are roughly equivalent to the RX 6800 (10 Tflops on PS5 to 12 on Xbox to 14 on the 6800) and that GPU is capable of 4k 30 FPS on ultra settings and 60 FPS ultra at 1440p (using Hardware Unboxed benchmarks) so I think it’s possible that those are the quality and performance

I really don’t understand how a game that was in production and had years of development for the base consoles before the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro were even announced, let alone the next generation consoles (technically it was announced before the Xbox One and PS4 were even announced), could be this bad on the base

It feels like a game that was subsidized by people buying copies on PS4 and Xbox One so people with top end gaming PC’s (and to a lesser extent PS5's and Xbox Series X|S’s) can actually run it as intended. It just can’t run on base consoles at an acceptable level, but those versions have probably made up at least 70%

The difference is we just voted out Trump. They voted in Hitler and then voted him more power.  I could be wrong, but I think this is over.

I am really loving the snowy New York in Miles Morales. It’s a bit early to say it’s on my favorites of all time list, but I think it will be. Also, pretty much the entirety of Wrath of the Lich King, but especially Grizzly Hills.

The game is just in an unacceptable state right now. It probably runs best on PS5 and Series X but it looks like an early generation game, most closely resembling GTA V in graphics in my opinion. Mind blowing in 2013, but just OK now. It’s completely unplayable on PS4 and Xbox One where most people will actually play

Not Xbox but Microsoft and I would cry: Freelancer

Maybe. The departures could be simply wanting to do something new and Bioware going back to Mass Effect and Dragon Age for another decade it might have been time for a break. It sounded like an amicable breakup, so that’s my hope at least.
