I think people need to stop thinking about these consoles as true next generation and more like a PS4 Pro Plus and a Xbox One X Plus.  You will probably be playing all the same games for the first few years as the old consoles, just with better framerates, higher resolutions and more graphic effects.

I prefer physical, but I more prefer being able to play the game at 9 PM the day before release rather than having to pick it up in a store the next day (or go to a midnight release when they still happen).
