I don’t see a major or even minor EU or North American city on the list. This headline could have easily been “living in an developing nation that pollutes like its 1977 LA is bad for your health.”

Correct headline: idling in traffic with your windows down in developing countries with minimal pollution controls increases your exposure to pollution (which may or may not be a meaningful increase that has health outcomes because we didn’t test that).

I used to go to this place in Atlanta, and if you know it, you know it. It’s called Jack’s Pizza and Wings, right there off Highland. It’s a dive bar that serves pizza and wings, and also super cheap beer. Back in 2009, they were still serving $1 pints of “Old 4th Ward” which I’m pretty sure was just Miller.

You’ll get no argument from me, but on the other hand I can do four tires, four brake pads, and four rotors on my miata for about $1k. Throw in a set of shocks and keep it under $2k.

With 1 important caveat.  Most people can afford to fix a Miata.

lol wut? The corolla hatch is a literal a Japanese Golf. The Yaris is more of a Polo competitor — which it competes with in markets that aren’t America.

Look, I ain’t got beef with the Corolla, but Toyota needs to just let it exist as an affordable economy car. 170 horsepower and some nicer wheels and tires may have made you a hot little ride in 2002, but not today.
