Tom destroyed him so hard.
Dave Ramsey is an idiot. cars are in that weird valley where they cost a lot to buy (probably anyone’s second biggest purchase after their house) but don’t gain value. And they’re machines, so they wear out. Telling people they shouldn’t buy a new car unless they’re worth millions and can pay cash is just some…
Dave Ramsey is a stinking pile of shit and his show is for entertainment value only. He peddles basic financial advice like “spend less than you make” and has very limited understanding of financial planning. Ramsey works the church crowd because some churches get a kickback on fees. He is a quasi-televangelist. I’d…
Exactly. My old man owned a commanche back in the day, and decided to go for a brand new wrangler. Needs some offroad abilities to handle jobsites but mostly pavement driving.
Totally off topic but i think some will be interested? It’s a Tesla 3 review by someone who’s never been in one and knew very little about them. Some of their comments were interesting.I think even the owner didnt fully understand the features! And to be fair the car is probably new to her.
BTW that vlogger usually…
A lot of people in the comments are saying things like “Everyone knows what a Jeep is, and no one knows what a Bronco is!” Wrong. Enthusiasts and actual off roaders/overlanders know what the Bronco is. And they will buy it. And you know the reason so many Wranglers sell? Lifestyle. And you only get that reputation for…
Assuming Ford is successful with this, I can see Toyota following with a Land Cruiser sub-brand. It could take generations for any of them to topple what Jeep has, as for as it’s world-wide recognition
One of these things is not like the others. One of these things is different.
I’m talking about the Sport. In this lineup the Sport is... weird. It’s like the old first and second generation Ranger based Explorer, before they upsized the Explorer and had it sharing parts with the F-150. Which, y’know, I’unno how well…
Jeep is going to have to wake up. The current Jeeps are meh at best and are horribly overpriced for what they are. You are paying for the name on the vehicle, not the actual quality of the vehicle. If these are half way decent, Jeep will need to wake up, seeing as they havent had much real competition in over twenty…
It seems a little more Freelander than Defender as far as what Ford is doing with the Bronco Sport (compact unibody offroader)
I really don’t like that slogan. It brings to mind a drunken workforce hanging from the rafters and swinging from cranes all the while welding, bolting and riveting as their fancy takes them. Either that or being built in a forest clearing. Neither are true but neither are good images for a new vehicle that's going to…
Not sure how many people I speak for, but personally I am a Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited owner... and I love my jeep... but the idea that maybe I could have a jeep that’s not a Chrysler product... makes me Christmas Eve excited.
Even the Bronco Sport looks more Defender than the new Defender...
Wish there was the 4-door top/doorless silhouette provided. I’ll just have to wait a week I guess.
I’d also honestly cross-shop these with a Wrangler. We owned a JK, would like to get back into that space, and I’m happy the JL Wrangler will have some competition.
Basically yes.
It looks so close to what I wanted the new defender to be.
If they can undercut Jeep by $3-4k, they’ll sell boatloads. At about the same price, people will go with the known commodity that holds its value extremely well.
I welcome the competition for Jeep. Real competition. Not some cartoon useless vehicles GM tried to do with the Hummer brand. I think making Bronco it’s own sub-brand is one of the best new ideas Ford has had in years and, from what I can tell so far, may be well-executed too.
I’m not the greatest at lightening up a silhouette photo, but even this much reveals a damn good looking 2-door.
