Great would be an understatement. For me, it was the first Star Wars game I really wanted to play out in a long, long time.

That was awesome!!! And good use of the Battletoads pause music at the end!

Didn't make it to GDC this year; hope to make it next year as an indie. Just curious (mainly for devs: ) — how pumped up is everyone to be working on new consoles? Esp. developers - are the specs for the new systems pretty well set now and it's all systems go? Enjoying all the new tools, having fun with the "hello

Power Blade for NES was also another "Arnold-vs-everyone" game I enjoyed back in the day. Boomerang fighting! Non-linear gameplay! Power suits! Life bars! This game had some good stuff going for it.

Good call! Looking forward to hearing the Transistor tunes.

Doesn't even have the same name there, it's Probotector (WTF!)

It's older, but this was my desktop BG for a while:

While we're playing the name-drop game for Supergiant, let's give a hats off ovation to the talented Jen Zee for coming up with this amazing artwork! C'mon Tina, gotta give credit where it's due!

Can't believe you'd leave off 'More excellent art from the cute and talented Jen Zee?'

Really? It's not like it's the most twitch game to play.

There's always one person that doesn't get it, and I agree, these are the hardest folks to deal with. Would love to try out some of these games with my D&D group there, feel like we could zip through some of these. But then again, we wouldn't be playing D&D, and have this underlying feeling that we're not making any

Making time for games is certainly a challenge. Another factor is how much of my gaming time is spent on sites like Kotaku following the industry as a whole — time that could be spent just gaming instead.

That's because it totally is — it's River City Ransom (Kunio Kun series) set in feudal Japan. Same developer - Technos Japan. Gameplay is very familiar! And there's even an English patch available. http://www.romhacking.net/translations/226/

So glad to see some great JRPGs making it over to the US finally! Loving the shit out of FE:A (let's call it a JSRPG?) at the moment, and would love to pick up EO next.

Sing it with me, the lyrics for the Jurassic Park theme, "We are di-no-saurs, we are di-no-saurs..."

Just out of curiosity, I wonder how much more (significantly) powerful this is than the stock GPUs that will be in Durango and Orbis machines?

Re: KI controls, I would add that they were awkward in the sense that they were twitch controls with a steep learning curve, but once you "get it", they make perfect sense. Clearly there are many that have mastered them to perfection. (I still get my ass handed to me in multiplayer, though).

Now playing

Of course! and I loved to PLAY IT LOUD!!! RARRRW

Seriously, why doesn't any store around me have Fire Emblem yet? Jeez!

Of course! Was about to add this. While the arcade / Genesis port are probably the more fun, I also dig NES version for its music and storytelling.
