i'd say he got just a little bit more than a "chotto shot".

@greeble: The best I've found over there are a couple of Subway chains, with modest pricing (a bit more than the US stores, but not ridiculous, and unlike the pizza prices in Japan). They were ok, but the one time I ate there, it just wasn't as fresh. Because nobody was really going! (And this was in Tokyo too)

Street Fighter 2010 for NES by Capcom. What a load. They couldn't get Street Fighter rights and instead took this terrible platformer and attached the name Ken to it. May have been years ago when it came out, but it still leaves a sour flavor in my mouth.

any numbers on BCR estimates? I read somewhere that Judd was said they were hoping for 100k in Japan, but thinks they could certainly push more in the other NTSC and PAL territories.

@karateka: Congratulations and best of luck to you and your wife!

I saw a neo-Nazi activist down on the shores of Beppu (Oita prefecture) last month... I'm back in the US now and haven't been following this or anything, but is Nazi support at an all time high in Japan right now? I had never seen them at all during previous visits to Japan; and now, two stories within a month.

18 or older with an income greater than $50K? Are you serious?

Frustrating to know that this is bargain bin fodder from day 1. Guess I'll have to decline as well; too many other good games out there to play right now anyway.

@pylon_trooper: Ditto, just had me some kurobuta the other day. Stocked up on a bunch of bacon to bring back home after that.

Just for the sake of comparison (and sadness!) I would like to see the top 6 selling non-Nintendo games, and how many units they've sold. Any ideas?

reminds me of the sound bite from barney from the simpsons after training for the space academy and getting off the booze... then drinks the victory champagne.

Thanks for sharing this. Never played it before, never heard of it, but have a great appreciation for games like this.

A little bit late to the party here, but Faxanadu for NES was a great classic that needs some VC lovin'

Really awesome man. A real lesson in (future) parenting as well! I like the bike in the bath story.

Ghosts & Goblins for NES. Controllers have been thrown, scolding from parents received.

Looks very slick. Can't wait to play this for my SNES. I mean, VC! I mean, PC, right?
