All about money and if a player doesn’t want to stay there, might as well cash in. I follow Serie-A, they aren’t going to catch Juventus with our without Higuain.

Higuain isn’t being duplicit, Juventus is clearly a step above Napoli. As for Totti’s comments, it’s not like Higuain has played for Napoli his whole life.
It’s that North/South dimension. If he had gone to Roma, wouldn’t be a big deal. It’s not like Napoli lost him on a free tansfer or something.
Another aspect of European soccer is that players have power. Ultimately the player has to decide to leave. That’s the aspect of American sports I hate.
I think sometimes they receive a percentage of the transfer fee.

Please, they would go 9-0. Alabama has some NFL talent, too bad they don’t have a talented NFL coach.
He needs help? Didn’t Rhode Island already help him?
Don’t forget Mayweather. A friend saw all his tweets about his gambling winning and assumed he must be good at it. I replied: “betting houses are in the business of making money, I’m guessing he doesn’t tweet his losses.”
You’re right but at least it sends a message. I live in Seattle, there’s this false narrative some have that the mayor here was voted out of office in 2008 because he let the Sonics leave. However, it had to do with his handling of a snow storm than the Sonics.
Big events attract fans, NFL teams generally don’t attract that many tourists.
Why do that when dumb politicians will build it for you.
You must not follow the NFL.
No wonder those players NEVER complain about the NFL fighting their health care claims.
True but they also fucked over future generations with that CBA they agreed to in 1999 (caps on individual salaries? are you kidding?).
who has made $65M playing a game
Who cares, the way their life track is likely going, they’ll be acting dickish to people in a few years.
Are we talking about the 2002 Sacramento series or the 2000 Portland series (Shaq seriously body-checked Steve Smith and no foul was given).
