I couldn’t care less whether or not St. Louis loses
It didn’t work out so well
Hillary is accused of being complicit in the personal destruction of the women who have accused bill of sexual assault and rape, including their reputations and credibility.
The only thing better than the Cards losing again would be them moving to Los Angeles (or Phoenix).
Damn, someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
I’m guessing Jimbo will spin this as proof FSU values “character.” I’m a cynical asshole so I’ll point this out: this wasn’t exactly a star player and from the link it sounds like he wasn’t going to play all that much. So basically he was very expendable and now IMO Jimbo scored some easy PR points. My guess is that…
Seeing how he was basically fired, the answer would be no. Anything else?
Cubbies finally became an unstoppable goddamn juggernaut
Good coaching in college? I thought he played under Charlie Weis?
A lot of people forget that when the Sandusky incident first came out, the media was quick to praise Paterno for “doing the right thing.”
So basically your argument is that nothing should have happened to the football program. This whole bullshit argument about “not wanting to hurt the players” is crap. It’s not like they can’t play football anymore. They were given the option to leave. A bowl ban? That just means they won’t play in 1 extra game.
They do this shit all the time. USC got nailed with a 2 year bowl ban in 2010 over something that happened in 2004.
This whole Penn St. scandal just showed how fucked up our priorities are. Football WAS the cause of this scandal and unlike Sandusky, it was never properly sanctioned.
All I need is the Red Sox to go on an 8 game losing streak and it will literally be Christmas in May!
MLB only makes US taxpayers pay.
Also amazed me how MLB didn’t just move the Brewers back to the AL when they realigned a few years ago (they made Houston go to the AL).
Too close to Atlanta? They’re 4 hours apart.
What’s sad about the NCAA system was that when the abuse talk came out in 2011, my first reaction was: “is this even an NCAA penalty?” Their system is so archaeic and backwards that it basically only covers amateurism. To top it off, they bragged about giving Penn St. sanctions that were in their words: “worse than…
Agreed, having said that, does this even count as a crime in Oklahoma?
