Kanye was a complete ass but having said that, the outrage was over the top. At the end of the day, it was simply a rude interruption.

He’s just mimicking the CEO/politician model of claiming you take responsibility for the problem and then laying out a bunch of excuses and subtly blaming someone else.

Even if the scholarship is guaranteed, the fact they have to sit out a year means there should be no restrictions. If they want to put a restriction on, then they shouldn’t have to sit-out.

Your point is asinine in the context of this discussion. It’s about players who want to transfer. Players who choose schools based on the school, likely won’t want to transfer. Having said that, even if they did want to transfer, why does their reason matter?

I agree, coaches like Kirby Smart are simply symptoms. The NCAA and their structure are the disease.

That’s a Euro-centric view. Pele embodied Brazilian football and Maradona carried an average Argentina side to a World Cup victory (1986) and a final (1990).

Speaking of Fisher being a media-whore, he actually signed Chris Mortenson’s son to a training camp tryout. He totally earned it seeing how he couldn’t win the starting QB job at Arkansas. He then transferred to Samford, where he couldn’t win the starting job there, then transferred back to Arkansas to be a backup QB.
