"Space Madness" and "Nurse Stimpy" were my favourite episodes. Period.

One, I rather like Brad Jones (then again, the only two internet reviewer types I really watch are The Cinema Snob and Oddity Archive, the latter of which is kind of a different affair when Ben goes off on discussing obsolete AV gear and, more recently, his guitar collection, but I digress). But to my point: HOW

My beef with YouTube is when a favourite video gets flagged and removed because of copyright/fair use issues, even though "fair use" is wholly permissible in educational and/or satirical contexts. Then again, I only have a couple of favourite YouTube channels, the biggest one of which has only about 13,000 subscribers

It was the name of a board game that was popular in the 1950s as well. BTW, Gawd this was a great, Great, GREAT band. Good to see at least there's some communication but I'm not holding my breath for a reunion. Sometimes those don't work out as hoped.

This video only has a little over 500 views. It DEFINITELY needs more love!

I want to watch them in their raw form, but I also love watching ephemeral films get skewered, and no one does it better than this guy: youtube.com/user/OddityArchive (actually everything on his channel is amazing).

OMG don't make me have Parker Lewis feels. I think the thing that keeps it off television (besides the fact that it's HORRIBLY dated, was so topical for its time that you'd have to Google half the pop culture references in it) is music licensing. But really, one other thing made me have a Parker Lewis moment today:

I think they're both dead now. One had a heart attack, I don't remember how the other died.

Congratulations, AVClub. I'm actually speechless. This all confirms why I just tend to stick to niche channels and use it as an excuse to play music in a second tab that I don't presently have in iTunes. But I'll give them a C for effort … still a passing grade but recognises it could be more.

Well, it's now 25 years old and very much of its time and would be woefully dated now, but I still cast my lot with the only 1990s teen sitcom that was actually watchable: Parker Lewis Can't Lose. And it has been written of in past on these very AV Club pages (I seem to remember some reviews when Shout Factory

I was a wee bit disappointed to look at the door of the tow truck and noticed "Oakla." as an abbreviation for "Oklahoma." COME ON PEOPLE IT'S OKLAHOMA NOT "OAKLAHOMA" FOR CRISSAKES! I'm not the only one that noticed this either: http://www.thelostogle.com/…

It's not like 'Sherlock' is unique in this crazy cliffhanger followed by extended hiatus game, yo. And to be fair, I'm afraid to say I thought 'Sherlock' jumped the proverbial shark midway through the most recent series. I'll give it another chance, though.

All Ages is the one I'd recommend first and foremost as a primer for the band. It's a VERY well done compilation.

The first time I saw Paul Johansson, if memory serves, was as Nick the diner guy in the second season of Parker Lewis Can't Lose. And the character seemed like an asshat then too. I vaguely remember that Johansson's character and Lemmer both exited the series after the final episode of season 2 and the show went

I feel you there. However, it's hard for me to look with 2015 eyes at the 1967 iteration of Dragnet, (which is basically Jack Webb and Harry Morgan going to war on the counterculture one hippie at a time) and not think it's a later generation's Reefer Madness: Deadly serious at the time, unintentionally hilarious

Not to be pedantic, but U-Tulsa's sports teams are known as the Golden Hurricane (as opposed to "Hurricanes"). Yes its a weird name for a landlocked private university in NE Oklahoma. All that said, good for Blondy Baruti.

Yes and you need to visit that page, everybody!

I consider mine the opposite of embarassing: 1980-ish, I was 13, I took my allowance somewhere and purchased, on vinyl, The Specials' eponymous debut (the US version had the track "Gangsters" added for US release, if memory serves, but I don't think that song was on the UK version of the album, it's certainly not on
