For many years I was under the impression that it’s illegal to warn other drivers of a speed trap, but federal courts have ruled that it’s protected under free speech. Some police departments have actually come out in favor of Waze’s alerts because they encourage safe driving which is really the purpose of a speed…

Hell it’s for their safety...let’s me know their up ahead and not come up on them at speed. They made the Give Way Laws for the same reason.
