I do something similar. I’ll throw up the ISS live feed on a monitor for a few minutes and get the same perspective. Plus, its really calming to look at anyway.

The Aston in the night shot at Sebring looks too small to be the GT1 car we’re used to having but I can’t remember ever seeing a GT3/E car in that color.
First time I saw those was at Petit Le Mans the year before. Sitting at the top of the hill after Turn 10 right before the bridge; your gut shook a little when they rolled by.

Not only was I also there, but I shared your sentiment. I have to say, the Aston P1 more than made up for it. Those howls around the city were eargasmic.
I really wished that program worked. I loved that car, but when the hood flew off of one of them on the straight at MMP, the omens were clear.
Every time I see us in this context presented by some new fact of the universe, I’m amazed at the story we’re being told through science.

Dino Crisis! It was like that game was made for me, RE was my favorite franchise and when younger than that Jurassic Park was the only thing I wanted anything to do with.
I can’t be the only one who thinks that everything besides Batman (the car, Joker and Harley(?)) just looks ridiculously silly, right?
Having been in all kinds of wrecks or accidents, I experience that moment of “here it comes” watching a lot of these. It’s that self dialogue you have in your head, pondering how much this is going to hurt, where you’ll end up, if anyone else is as involved and lastly, how much damage is currently being done.
I read every book just below or at a quiet whisper. It keeps my attention on the book so I don’t drift off into two pages worth of daydreaming, forcing me to start over again.
