I just want someone who denies this to tell me why they're so against it all anyway. What are they afraid of? Innovation? We're going to run out of fossil fuels one day anyway, right? (right?) What's so wrong with becoming more efficient regardless of why?

How about the argument that if you're a super hero of either gender, the constant running, jumping, flying(?), fighting, swinging and other olympian feats they do on a day to day basis probably keeps you in shape?
