Primantis really is fucking terrible

The way the city hits upon exiting the Fort Pitt tunnel. It’s a fucking beautiful visual. Gets me every damn time.

I would move back to Pittsburgh in a heartbeat if it weren’t for all the Pittsburghers.

I hate to say it but also may be the best view from any ballpark I have been to. As a Red Sox fan Fenway is like a crowed sewer of forced singalongs and impossible parking stuffed into a city that is nightmare labyrinth of paved cowpaths.

Gwen Ihnat: “Hi Ms. Sedaris, I’m from the AV Club and I was wondering if you’d like to do an interview?”

Amy Sedaris ought to be the biggest star ever.

It’s wonderful to see Amy Sedaris starring in something again. And this is so completely her kind of thing. If it’s anything like her books (and it looks like it is), people are going to be confused but delighted.

Soldier Field in Chicago has three museums and several parks within a half mile of it. On game days, there are more people not going to the game than there are people going to the game in that area.

Detroit has always had poor public transportation, which I assume has to do with the city’s relationship to the big three automotive companies.

“See!? Look at the sea of red! What a turnout, tremendous.”

Its *not* about attendance. It’s about one of the wealthiest people in America taking money from the coffers of an American city that can least afford it so he can further line his pockets, risk-free.

Baseball games are played in warm weather. Not so with basketball

Little Caesars: Come see our empty insides before we do the same to you.

Counterpoint: Fuck you and fuck whatever shitty team you root for. Your team is worse off for your bullshit.

Cubs-Dodgers are in the middle of a great rivalry. They got the Dodgers last year, the Dodgers got them this year. Dodgers going into audition mode in late August might have been the best thing that occurred because the team looks fresh and healthy going into the World Series. Cubs ran out of gas. They will be back

They really had a cow.

Yeah, they were on fire about it

Despite the claims of his attire, he really doesn’t seem to be in the mood to take BS.

Alright, settle down. Maddon’s fine. I would advise the Cubs to not fire him, as roughly 25 other teams would happily fire their own manager to bring him on board.

When he retires he’s going to open a restaurant called The Redasserie
