I think he would have had a great career in animated movies voicing more fun characters. Imagine what he could have done with Po in Kung Fu Panda. No offense to Jack Black.

I think E.R. was the final nail in the coffin for the "special episode." In the later seasons every other episode was hyped as "a special episode." That show was downbeat enough, but special episodes meant the cast was about to get smaller.

Saw it today. Lots of fun. I think the movie should get the special effects Oscar for the flashback scene where they made Michael Douglas look 26 year younger. That was impressive.

Finally had time to see the DVD.
I give the Wachowskis some credit for an interesting idea - ancient human clans who own bits and pieces of the galaxies like parts of a giant universal monopoly board, but the movie just didn't do it for me. Nice creature effects though. The winged lizard guys were pretty cool.
