No joke I thought this was an elaborate campaign for Ford’s new F150 with the onboard generator.

To answer your question: Probably. 83 percent of them are run on urban/suburban routes.
His answer to Sen. Kennedy (La), who was clearly trying to go for a ‘gotcha’ moment, was just **chef’s kiss**.
It’s only socialism when somebody else is getting the benefit or relief. If the disaster befalls you, it’s a unforseen, unavoidable tragedy that can only be rectified by an influx of other people’s tax dollars.
Isn’t this the risk they accepted when they agreed to pay wholesale energy prices? Wouldn’t it be socialism to use public money to bail out people who took on too big a risk?
My earliest memory of him is when he repeatedly bullied Chelsea Clinton - who was 12 or 13 at the time - by referring to her as the White House dog. More than once.
In times like these I am always reminded of the famous Bette Davis quote on the passing of Joan Crawford:
This is hurricane and tornado territory. They would have a small generator that they can leave in the driveway and run an extension cord into the house with. Normally it would be used to power a fridge or a small ac unit to keep food fresh and people cool, but in this case, plug it into a space heater. The issue now…
Part of the state’s power outages come down to the fact that its infrastructure was designed to withstand extreme heat, not cold.
Well, Comcast’s argument that data caps exist to maintain network performance isn’t really holding water if they can arbitrarily waive them with no impact to network performance, right?
Don’t give them credit for this. The data cap is nothing but fucking price gouging. Pandemic or no it is fucking evil.
After a couple years with a Smart Key I can’t go back to taking the key out of my pocket and putting it in the ignition switch. I look forward to the time when our phones unlock our cars.
Charging infrastructure should have zero to do with their decision. These things by definition park in depots at night. During the day, they make runs that are very, very rarely longer than 20-30 miles in a loop. And for those that are double-duty, taking sports/events teams, you can always keep a few gas burners…
Where's George in all of this? Another absentee Republican father.
The spokesperson’s response is childish but utterly unsurprising.
It looks like you are trying to drive. Would you like help?
The answer is something like, “You can expect to make approximately $0 on Twitch unless you are extremely lucky.”
None of this adds up. This is a hack piece put together for a few bucks by slapping together random different pieces of “information” anyone could google. On top of that, the sources are weird nonsense. Consulting.com’s piece, as you have pointed out, doesn’t add up. At all. It’s just accepted here.
The thing that leaves out is that it is EXTREMELY unlikely you will get to anything near 1000 viewers on Twitch. If you are averaging 1000 viewers, you are in the top 1% or so of all streamers on Twitch. And I have no idea what the article is referring to with videos, as it seems to classify them as different than…
