Not everyone goes to Vegas for F1. May surprise you to learn it’s actually a well-traveled destination. So you’re obscuring views of the strip several days before the race and ruining peoples’ Vegas experience who have nothing to do with the race.

U.S. ICE consumer vehicles make up something like 0.4% of total global emissions. 

What baffles me is that this information wasn’t hard to find, they all know individual cars make up about 13% of the overall emissions issue. But the efforts being made to go after them as if they were 80% of the cause has me bamboozled. Is it because they Cannot go after other avenues and Cars are the easy targets?…

Cars honestly have not been a huge source of actual pollution (hydrocarbons) since ODBII. Even in Los Angeles, the main source of pollution is actually the port.

This is true, which is why it makes no sense to ban ICE cars at this point (apart from environmental signaling to score political points).

Superior technologies don’t need bans on their predecessors to succeed. On a number of levels, even beyond infrastructure, gasoline-powered cars are still better. Until BEVs can charge in the ~2 minutes it takes to fill up a gas tank, they will be at a competitive disadvantage, as everyone doesn’t live in buildings…

These aren’t tourists, they’re influencers.  Influencers don’t actually give a shit about the area they’re visiting, they only care about getting the ‘content’ that will give them the most views.

Fuck influencers, YouTubers, and people who constantly have to post selfies on social media. You can hardly travel anywhere without hordes of people lining up to take the same picture as everyone else.
