I genuinely don’t understand people who hit something that large, which involves a noticeable impact, and a noticeable sound, and don’t bother to pull over and inspect their vehicle. ESPECIALLY if they didn’t see that large object behind them in the roadway.

That is laughable. Go to an area that’s #1 past time is robbing people (no offense Brasil, you can’t deny this is a big issue) and end up surprised that you were robbed. They can smell the money on you.

Like...The Stig’s American Cousin was funny, and I think that way of lampooning us Yanks is great. Making fun of Hammond for loving US culture is great fun too. But the character they had Skinner playing was almost deliberately bad. It wasn’t clever, it was shallow.

On the other, I wasn’t thrilled with how Skinner’s character was portrayed. His hatred of import cars and undying love for fat-displacement V8s felt very heavy-handed and stereotypical. Poor mileage, compared to what? This thing is meant to be taken off road, it still has a solid front axle. The only other vehicles that have a sfa are 3/4 ton on up heavy duty trucks from Ford and Ram.

Realistically only FCA cares in order to get some marginal improvement with EPA numbers in order to help with CAFE. Customers probably care only insofar as they might get more overall mileage between fill-ups.

And I suppose none of this money was given to him through gee...I don’t know, the Russians or other foreign government sources? Nah. He earned it legally, hence the reason to launder it. I know I always filter my take home pay through shell companies to hide it’s origins.
