I’m sure it’ll have 4 low.  Question is at what ratio?  Jeep uses 2.72:1 most of the time, but Rubis get 4:1.  I wonder if this is Fords way of only using one T-case ratio across the range?

Partial truth. While I would be happy to have full time 4WD on my JKU, it’s not necessary. Older Jeeps like the TJ have such a short wheelbase, you really never get any binding as long as there is any sort of slip. With the JKU it’s pretty simple, most of the time 2WD, other wise if it’s snowy, 4 hi. I only need to

If they did that lots of people would simply buy a Camaro or Challenger instead.

Also, a fold flat passenger seat is nice to fit long items. When a SUV/Crossover has that, I know they actually meant for it to be used for work, and not just soccer practice.

Guess you’ve never driven an older 4Runner before they had the lift gate.

No stick shift in non-M cars and it’s ugly...yikes. I’ll stick with older cars.

People belong on sidewalks, cars belong on the street.  Driving on the sidewalk to hit people is very bad.  People on the streets to block traffic is also very bad.

Very surprising that the JL rolls, but not the JK.  Also, surprising that hasn’t been mentioned yet in the comments.

I would say I’m disappointed, as I had wanted to do this eventually. However, when BMW stopped offering a manual transmission in the normal 3/4 series my chances of buying a new BMW pretty much dropped to zero. A little while ago a 440i with a stick and European delivery was a dream.

Huh, I never noticed that, but you’re right

Here’s the problem - the new company won’t be and it’ll be run by the same losers who made the previous company go bankrupt.

If I spent 96% of my cash flow on stock, then asked the government for a bailout when things went south, what do you thing the govt’s reaction would be?  I think the gov’t would laugh and tell me to go plead my case to a bank for a personal loan.

I was thinking more Freelander

The ridiculous size is one reason why I’ve never bought a F150 Raptor.  Here’s hoping Ford makes a Bronco Raptor with a manual.

Or my Dad’s 2001 GMC Yukon

Agreed. If I wanted something F150 sized, I’d buy an F150.

If the Bronco has a V6 and manual, I’m definitely interested.  Haven’t thought about if I’d get 2 door or 4 door.

That’s what I’ve been wondering. It would be interesting to see 2 and 4 door Wrangler sales pre and post Gladiator launch. I wouldn’t be surprised if over 50% of Gladiator owners are former Wrangler owners. Still, any increased overall sales is a plus, the development cost couldn’t have been that much compared to an

If this comes with a Raptor style suspension, a V6, and a manual, it’ll be pretty hard for me to say no.

What’s interesting to me is I’m pretty sure these new 300k+ Ferraris aren’t bought by guys who have a Range Rover for the week, and a Ferrari for the weekend.  They’re bought by guys who have a Range Rover, a Ferrari, a Lambo, a Harley, a helicopter etc.
