Interestingly, uppercase Jeep is Wrangler, Cherokee, etc. Lowercase jeep is generic military transport. Fox really should have pointed out it was Russian, and not a Jeep.

“lifelong Washington fixture ... drain the swamp” makes sense.
He should have put a magnet on it to see if it was aluminum.
The engine size does not really surprise me. I’ve read that 1/2 litre cylidners are about the best from an efficency stand point. Therefore, 2.0L fours, 3.0L sixes, and 4.0L eights should be pretty common. A 1.2L four must have some small cylinders.
Wow, 36K has to be the cheapest one ever sold with a clean title.
I was thinking nice price, until I found out it still has the stock 5.3, and not the 6.0 that the Silverado SS had. Nice looking truck though.
I’d like mine in a smaller vehicle (like Ranger size) and with a manual transmission. The Raptor has the advantage of being a factory package with a factory warranty, but for that price, I think I could build a pretty nice Tacoma.
Mid-engine cars have novelty, but I’m not so sure being front engined is really a limiting factor unless you are racing. There are front engined cars with plenty of performance. Does anyone look at a Ferrari F12, or Viper ACR and think, gee these really need to be mid-engined? I see a mid-engined Corvette as a…
The Ranger looks a lot smaller to me, but kind of unfair since that’s a Raptor which is taller and wider than a normal F150.
Shame, I like the way the e89 looks. It actually stands out in traffic compared to all the other boring looking cars.
Agreed. How many people look at a 650i coupe and think to themselves “I need something better”?
I think the market is shifting. I know for me, I find pre-war cars interesting to look at, but I really can’t imagine ever buying one.
I think part of the problem with modern luxury cars is that many features that used to be exclusive to certain brands are now avaiable to everyone. How many 30 year old Toyotas have leather, moonroof, nice stereo, wood/aluminum trim etc. ? Today I wouldn’t be surprised if most Toyotas on the lot have all of those.
It’s hard to imagine modern cars winning best in show. To me, the biggest obstacle seems to be rarity. How many 1932 Lancia Pinninfarina’s are there? Almost certainly far fewer then even a car you forgot exists, like the Lamborghini Jalpa. Maybe some modern Zagato designs will win in the future?
I think it’s just deceptive advertising. The solar panel may be wired to charge the big battery, but as you point out, don’t expect the roof to be your primary charging strategy. I don’t think there is anything false that Karma has said, just misleading.
Pretty sure they mean “power the car” in the same way a 12v battery powers a normal car. Didn’t Toyota also say something weird about the Prius roof powering the AC?
I think part of the problem is the cost of health care. The old guys and gals who work/worked for the car companies have expensive perscriptions, operations, etc.
I came here to say this.
Are there any differences between the UK ans US broadcast with this one? Last series they changed some of the music because of copyright laws.
