I learned my lesson during Snowmageddon here in Central Texas to always make sure you have a full tank of gas. With only our cell phones working and no power, we could only charge it in the car and it’s sloooow.

Definitely cool! And it’s $1000 off right now thru the 15th.
How much of that $6 is going towards Girl Scouts? Do the parents buy the cookies first at a lower cost and then turn around and sell them?
All of these can be easily fixed by investing in the following:
Last year I was staying at a hotel and placed an order through Favor. The guy not only asked me if I was alone, but also if I wanted company. That’s the first and only time I got a creeper and I’ll never use that service again.
According to my son, Tex-Mex is a food group, so we always have these kit items at home. Once we were out of tostadas so we subbed Doritos. Doesn’t hold the crunch like a tostada, but it still tasted good.
l like my pizza well done, so I usually put a slice or two in my preheated air fryer shortly after it’s delivered. Whatever toppings are on it, they usually come out a bit charred. If that’s what he’s referring to as “twice cooked” pineapple, I’d be on board!
I think I read that in Canada, they have created a butter chicken pizza. I’m hoping that comes to the states soon.
I’m a single parent too, Laura, so kudos to you for raising two all on your own!
I’m assuming here...but I bet for every $1 your spend these companies make $0.20 by selling your personal data and other information?
I had no idea lavender syrup was even a thing. It certainly makes for a pretty drink.
Best of luck on your next adventure, Danny! We will miss your articles for sure :)
Everyone should be a server at least once in their life. I was for over 10 years and I look at eating out in a whole new light. The slide I agree with more than any is writing down orders. There’s nothing more frustrating that having your food delivered and it’s wrong and has to be fixed.
We like to make copycat KFC bowls at home as well as biscuits and gravy, so the pantry always has some form of gravy in it. I would totally be willing to try the Great Value turkey gravy. I’ve had a lot of luck trying the Walmart house brand of food.
I have a Samsung and it came with bloatware apps that I can’t seem to uninstall. Does anyone know of a way to remove those?
Sounds weird but hear me out. Unless you have a father knows best tradition of someone cutting into the turkey at the beginning of the meal, cook the turkey the day before.
You should also have a slide show of things you should eat on a bad date.
I worked at Shari’s and Carrows for about 10 year many, many eons ago. “Behind you” was an important phrase, especially if you or they are carrying food by hand or on a tray.
Did he get paid to be on the show? If someone beats Bobby, do they win a prize? I’m not a reality TV fan but I am curious.
This gal too. I don’t eat any seafood because I simply can’t stand the smell. I can remember a trip to Seattle walking through the fish market and wanting to puke...so don’t tell me “it doesn’t smell when it’s fresh”
