Sounds weird but hear me out. Unless you have a father knows best tradition of someone cutting into the turkey at the beginning of the meal, cook the turkey the day before.

You should also have a slide show of things you should eat on a bad date.

I worked at Shari’s and Carrows for about 10 year many, many eons ago. “Behind you” was an important phrase, especially if you or they are carrying food by hand or on a tray.

Did he get paid to be on the show? If someone beats Bobby, do they win a prize? I’m not a reality TV fan but I am curious.

This gal too. I don’t eat any seafood because I simply can’t stand the smell. I can remember a trip to Seattle walking through the fish market and wanting to puke...so don’t tell me “it doesn’t smell when it’s fresh”

Is there any meat on American style pizza that Chinese find offensive or gross?

You know those YT videos of trucks belching out black smoke seemingly on demand? Is that what that mod does? I always wondered how they did that and why they weren’t ticketed for it.

I was gifted a kitchenaid years ago and the only two things I make in it nowadays is Chocolate Fluff and mashed potatoes LOL

That would be great advertisement for the dealership...right?

I used to watch his show with my mom when I was young. He’s very warm, welcoming and unpretentious. Unlike so many other celebrity chefs now a days. I especially like watching the episodes where his daughter and/or grand daughter are part of the show and help him cook.

People don’t plan to fail....they fail to plan.

Whole Foods? Trader Joes? They always seem to have obscure products available to purchase. Years and years ago when the first TDs opened in San Jose, CA they actually carried ground Ostridge. Yeah...it was pretty gross.

We’re not a big candy family in general, but we like to wait for the 50%-75% off clearance a week or two after a holiday (Easter, Halloween, Christmas), pop it in the chest freezer and enjoy it throughout the year. Not all candy works well this way, but the chocolate kind does for sure.

We’re at the tail end of a three week road trip from Texas through NM, AZ, NV, UT, CO and back through NM. Google maps is what we’ve been using. I have been turning on “avoid highways” and “avoid tolls” and have gotten to see parts of these states most people avoid.

If I’m in line at the store and have a basket full of groceries only to see the person behind me has a couple of items, I let them go ahead. I think of it as paying it forward. They are probably there because either the self check out line is huge OR there’s only one cashier open.

I was a waitress at Carrow’s and Shari’s 20+ years ago. I worked the swing and the grave shifts and heard all kinds of silly and goofy jokes. I appreciated them then and do so now.

We just came back from a two week road trip and Google Maps was pretty amazing! After a few days of playing around with buttons and options, I realized what a powerful app this really was.

What about this new tool from Google: https://myactivity.google.com/results-about-you

I’m so fed up with fees! If I see the word fee anywhere on a restaurant menu or at the hostess station, I will walk out and go somewhere else. This is the exact reason I stop using services like DD and GH. After their fees (delivery, service, etc.) the meal I orders is 25% more than if I had just picked it up.
