These are all great ideas if you already have a shed. Just keep in mind that if you plan on buying one than you need to make sure that your “unattached structures” on your homeowners policy will cover it as well as the contents inside.

I think I’d be on the side that uses both except I would grate the onions and mince the garlic OR microplane the garlic and dice the onions.

“I went years without telling my chef that I don’t like cilantro on my burger—as an adult, it took me years to have the confidence to say that,”

I know this is already considered a “kitchen” item but pick up a couple of bench scrapers at the dollar store. If something sticky lands on your floor or countertops and you aren’t able to clean it up immediately, this tool comes in mighty handy.

Here, Here! You are either a sir or a ma’am. I’d rather error on the side of respect than consistently having to think about what I call someone in order not to “offend”. If someone doesn’t like it it’s up to them to tell me, not the other way around.

I have come across this exact situation when I cook Cream of Wheat. Not sure what happens when I cook it in a pot but whatever is left over will stick to the pan like super glue. I can either add water to the pot and gentle simmer it for a few minutes to loosen it up or throw it in the dishwasher.

Thank you Elizabeth! I’ve been in customer service and support of some kind over + 15 years. I’ve done it enough to de escalate most calls. These are the situations where “you get more flies with honey than with vinegar”.

I get it. Retail gigs suck. Sadly for her, her prospects of finding another job have just gone down to almost zero.

Any tips on buying ground pork at the store? I don’t have the ability to buy a grinder attachment right now but I really, really want to try this recipe.

I personally would much rather focus my efforts on keeping a healthy brain. It does me no good to live an extra 2,5 or 10 years if my memory and cognition aren’t healthy.

Totino’s pizzas are the only frozen pizza we buy and because of the new shape, fit perfectly in our little toaster oven. It’s the only pizza I’ve tried where I don’t want to add anything to it. Paired with a ice cold diet coke and I’m in heaven!

Thank you Beth! This has probably got to be one of the most thought provoking articles that has popped up on LH as of late. I don’t exercise but I do do things that would be considered “escapism” for sure.

So long as it’s not the cat LOL

IMO one of the best ways to start eating healthier is to teach yourself how to cook. Start with technique and then move to ingredients.

I can always tell when my depression is lighter on days I actually want to get up and clean/organize. It’s not often. I actually broke down and purchased a small kitchen garbage can for every room...so that’s helped a lot.

It would cost me about $.50 in gas round trip to return mine to Dollar Tree...so no thanks.

Tornados weren’t something we ever experienced in our neck of the woods in Texas...until last year. Thankfully my neighborhood was spared. At first we blamed it on the wacky weather and climate change. Maybe it’s the earths core slowing down?

When the pandemic hit I along with a lot of folks were at home streaming shows. If you take the time to watch any documentaries relating to pandemics or even epidemics they almost always end the same way.

Mine too. Separately (before tax) my total was $18.24 but my wings only came in a 6 piece.

I recently discovered ready-to-cook tortillas and I’m in love with them. I’m curious if I could cook the tortilla in the waffle iron first (think Chipotle heating up a tortilla) then remove it, add fillings, and pop it back in the iron.
