He’s not the only person out there who doesn’t realize that welfare hasn’t been a thing for decades. I wish politicians would make it clear that Clinton signed the last of it away in the ‘90s, but it’s not in either sides best interest to let that become well known.

Lord, we got folks in the street, ain’t got nothin’ to eat / And the obese milkin’ welfare

I actually have no problem believing he cares about trans people’s fertility—at least the white ones. Don’t forget he’s obsessed with declining birthrates. It’s all thinly veiled “great replacement” bullshit.

This is a perfect analogy. “Woke culture” is a meaningless term, but inasmuch as it means anything, one of the bogeymen inherent in it is the ability for trans people to live normal lives without interference from the state or bigots. If you don’t like that, then you don’t like Trans people. Full stop.

Musk cares about Musk.

Calm down, everyone, Elon Musk is just looking out for the fertility of trans people. That’s definitely what all his vitriol is about. HELPING people.

That’s like saying “He doesn’t hate black people, just civil rights.”

So he doesn’t hate trans people, he hates people who tell him he should be polite and respectful to trans people? And I seriously doubt he’s really that concerned about other people’s fertility.

Good old Grimey...I was actually the first to make this joke (at least on this site) almost 9 years ago to this day: https://www.avclub.com/stop-posting-stuff-about-drugs-to-grimes-wikipedia-pag-1798271294 ...but since old comment sections are lost to the world, you’ll have to take my word.

This definitely wasn’t on my bingo card.

OH WOW THANKS HOW BIG OF YOU

Being a grown adult that feels threatened by Barbie must be wild

Not quite sure what’s sadder: the angry nerds who review bomb the movie without seeing it, or the angry nerds like Ben Shapiro and Critical Drinker who sit through the entire movie and spend a day putting together a 40-minute video about why they didn’t like a movie that wasn’t marketed to them.

“Aren’t they all?

There would be no SNL without Python. Python cast a much longer shadow influence-wise than SNL. Since for the most part Python didn’t rely on pop culture references or current politics it remains evergreen, as opposed to SNL.

I’m going to do something I’ll potentially regret and pull you out of the Grays since you don’t seem to be a random troll (at least that’s what I gathered from skimming your previous posts).

I was happier not knowing who this was.

I don’t think that’s what’s happened here at all.

Geez, 2018? Even back in the shock comedy 90s, when I was part of sketch comedy group that did stupid shit and bought a a tube of “burnt umber” makeup, we all decided it would be really fucking shameful to use it in almost any context. Even then, we knew some of our comedy heroes were treading on thin ice with that
