I was living on my own at 18. When the fuck did 20 year old’s become kids? I’m constantly chiding my colleagues at the university to stop calling the students kids, they’re young adults sure, but not kids, and they’d be better served in life being treated as such.

This kids is my hero.  I stuttered just like him and the kids, especially the older ones, were brutal.  He’ll grow out of it with age and speech therapy like I did, it’s tough and takes work, but he seems very much up for the challenge.

I guess that’s my biggest take from all this. I had no idea USC was considered a prestigious college (and most definitely not in the league of Ivy), maybe aside form their film school, which really is just a thing because of it’s distance to Hollywood.

The semester hasn’t even started, and I’ve already gotten into an argument with a girl (in a sorority t-shirt of course) for not wearing a mask in my campus building. It was in her backpack she said! Signs are everywhere, they’ve had to take community care training, multiple videos, etc.
