It's not about the endings sucking....uh nevermind.

It certainly killed there replayability.

The group who want Mass Effect 3's ending changed has raised 60k+ dollars for charity. What have you done?

I haven't been defending this guy. I've been making the point clear that this isn't about the ending being bad or opinion but about how it destroyed a series and flat out lied to it's fans countless times which lends credence to his claim.

Seriously what has happend to Kotaku i thought this was a gaming blog for people who liked games?

In this case no they invalidate the last 5 years spanning 3 games.

Admittedly i am pissed with the ending but wouldn't take it this far i just hope that BioWare can see that maybe they made a mistake and at least change or clarify the ending but they have basically put up and iron curtain and have ignored the issue which a large portion of fans hate.

They flat out lied about the ending countless times how is that no factual evidence? It's not someones opinion whether on not the ending was good or bad but they said there was countless variations on the ending and everyone would be discussing what happened in there one because no one would have the same and this is

Copy pasting here because if you haven't played mass effect then you don't get the fucking point.

Mass Effect isn't like a regular game where you pick it up and complete it. This a game taking your actions into account for 5 years just to have it disregard everthing you did and all the choices you made.

You're completely wrong it's not an 'opinion' they flat out lied by saying there would be so many variations on the ending, how it was almost impossible to get the same ending as anyone else.

What if those 150 hours were completely pointless and a waste of time?

Yes it actually is.

Drink hatorade.

Seems pretty cut and dry.

Not what people are complaining about at all.

It's worth noting that if you check out the Final Hours of Mass Effect app that the ending was intentionally vague so that and I quote lead writer mac Walters there would be "lots of speculations".

It's fake.

He does very well at not acknowledging the fans concerns with that many words he never directly talks about the ending and deflects the issue. Also 'some passionate fans' are you kidding? It's a huge fan outcry.
