MS puts away the dishes the way she gardens: she has hired staff do it.

This dampens my rage.

100 percent of these hats would look fabulous on a cat.

Yes, if her friends recommended it, I would imagine she assumed it was. I have my kid in day care, and I never asked during the tours if they were technically licensed (they are).

This is a magnificent tale.

YES, viva Ava!

But for “funny”? Hedley Lamarr

Exactly what I came here to say.

AND, I believe that the Reijkavik police force is quite good looking and seem to be kind! (seem to be).

The hot dogs are yummy. But there was only one stand in Reykjavik that I saw. True story we went to Iceland in June and my husband, our sons and their partners went horseback riding. I did not as I am afraid of horses. When they came back my husband said ‘after we finished the horses were rolling on the ground rubbing

How can hot springs not rate a mention on your Iceland bucket list, but hot dog stands do? This is amusing me on a slow Friday afternoon.

I want to do the Welsh version because I bet you get to ride Corgis

No matter how many times you go, an Iceland bucket list just keeps getting longer. It’s that awesome there.

I really hope he will, but if he doesn’t — better fancy-free than stuck with the wrong guy. (Not downplaying the difficulties of single life at all, I was single for a very long time and assumed I’d remain so.)

This needs a whole heaven of stars.

It’s human nature to judge yourself and other people. But if you know that tendency and can acknowledge how it can affect you, then over time you can learn to figure out ways to manage and channel that into things that make you feel good about who you are as a person.

so true, and “grab-and-go” is fast food! It doesn’t mean McDonald’s only. I frequent a non-chain french cafe that technically is considered “fast food” and thus has to list the calories in their items. So weird that she would pick that specific thing to harp on when you were clearly trying to be supportive of what you

I have rarely seen threads spiral as quickly as they do on this particular blog. I commented above trying to offer a perspective and some gratitude for the author’s honesty...only to see her be really rude to you for no apparent reason other than she is angry about how well you understand the calorie-transparency laws

Just because it’s a salad does not mean it’s low-cal. Try creamy dressings, fatty toppings, and almost nutrient-neutral iceberg lettuce and what you get is a non-meal that ends up being much worse for you. Meal prepping is not much better than ordering out if you don’t have healthy ingredients available. My advice:

I know this isn’t exactly the point of the article, but... Don’t do crunches and sit ups, people. It takes up a lot of time to do enough sets of them to see any results, and even if you do, the results won’t be dramatic. Do planks and proper push ups instead. It takes half the time and half the motivation, though
