I’ll take that Empire Carpets commercial any day over Kars for Kids (for those of us in the NYC area since I don’t know if they are only local or not). At least Empire is a company trying to sell something. Kars for Kids is a sham charity that spells cars with K and has an insanely annoying jingle. They have

Denver and all over SoCal.

We have these in SoCal too. And that ending where he dubs “...today” makes me bonkers.

I'm so sorry. It's a brain worm for me too. Come here, and we can hold each other.

There’s a commercial for Empire Carpet that plays in the northeast. It’s got a jingle that’s just their 1-800#. For the longest time it made me crazed. Any time it came on, I would leap, fly, flail or crawl to the mute button. I’m starting to feel the same way when I see Madonna.

Because speaking up is worthless when you are LITERALLY CAPABLE OF CHANGING THE GAME YOURSELF YET YOU STILL DON’T. Because it’s completely hypocritical.

If you’re not going to then do anything to actually help or change anything then, yes, you can keep your damn mouth shut.

“I mean George Clooney wants to support diversity, he does! But not at the expense of his comfort.”

Well, it’s median income so idk if you qualify as “rich” if you’re at that level. I’m sure the wonderful people on RHOP make way more than that.

The letters shared above don’t speak to the doctor’s character or reputation. They speak to the logistical unlikeliness of the scenario as it was reported, written by people who allegedly would know. There’s a difference.

I agree in this instance. I like the phrase in general but as it applies to the lack of representation at the Oscars it does not work. Though I do agree that if Idris isn’t getting a nomination then Will definitely shouldn’t. Beast of No Nation was a solid performance, I saw it a week ago and I’m still mad at his

Watch Beasts. That’s really all I can add to any conversation recently.

she is right

okay, maybe Aunt Viv is salty, but:

I mean it’s true tho...

Nope, this is a straight up drag. Shade is when you go home later and realize you’ve been insulted. Jada and Will KNOW what just happened.

As a white, I only know so much but from shade court I’ve gathered this is not shade. She “read” them.

“It just ain’t that deep.”
