@jmeltzer: You gotta love the scyfy movies you can look at in groups w/alcohol being constantly consumed and just laugh at.
@Jason Rouse: You're definitely right about that. Those customer skins(blur, sense, touchwiz) throw a monkey wrench into the mix, but I'm seeing people ranting about numbers, and they don't have that big of an impact. It's like ranting about your internet connection not being upgraded when all it'll do is allow you…
I don't get all these comments that say "I'll never get an android because the next update is usually a month away" or "my phone will feel like an outdated piece of crap". Who Cares!
@Graham Cracker Morris: Plus the high temp is because the planet hasn't cooled off yet from forming, because the planet is so young
One more step towards dropping cable. Now I just need my discovery shows. I know and use ninjavideo.net, but there are still some shows they miss. They don't have too many DIY channel shows, or HGTV, or the cooking channel. Many a good meals came from that one. Until I can see those reliably, I'll keep my cable. …
You missed the part where they ask you to insert a q-tip that you swabbed on the inside of your cheek to verify your DNA. What, you thought they didn't have that?
This would make an awesome looking iPhone.
2.2 for the Dext/Cliq? We'll see after 2.1. Although, after getting this phone, I like it. Not really suffering in the apps dept yet, although I haven't really been digging hard into the market. We'll see how I feel about this phone in a week, when I get the ooohhhs and aaahhhss of Android out of my system
I'm really hoping the 2.1 update comes in July for the Cliq XT. Tried to get it so I can have a phone now, then return it later when I had alittle more "cheddar", but...that backfired. Seeing stuff like this just makes me more...worried. I'm not depressed yet.
If I get the Best Buy option, will my phone come back optimized? And why only Best Buy iPhones, couldn't they make more money doing insurance on anybody's iPhone? Seems like they're limiting a potential income stream, and the opportunity for more BB jokes on Gizmodo.
Man, I wish there was a Del Taco closer to me here in Seattle, WA. I miss them from Cali. I gotta go 30 miles to get to one. I don't like them that much.
"white spots resembling a constellation of stars"? It's a code. Figure it out and you'll have the new iPhone 4.5 shipped to you free of charge.
Man, looking at that, I feel like that's a line of disciples going into some kind of cult ritual, putting up with those conditions.
You should see what happens in the trucks. If you got video of that, you'd be crying thinking of what your poor iPhone would go through. I worked for UPS(same situation in FedEx), and there were times when I had a choice of trying to stop the wall as it's falling or get the hell out of the way. Guess which way I…
The only way I'd worry about this is if I go into...Home Depot or Lowes and then all of a sudden I'm bombarded by ads for power tools or garden supplies. Then I can see why Jesus could get so mad. But other than that, if I'm not doing anything shady, I really don't care if they know where I've been.
@TerryinSt.Paul: Are you forgetting about the Samsung Galaxy S? And trust me, they learned from their Behold II fiasco. This phone is way too high profile for them to abandon this one.
@LARPkitten: How about Cali? There's AC, the summers may be hot, but they are dry, and you get the seabreeze alot. And if you can ignore the traffic/people/living cost/economy/government/bullets, you'll be gold!!
My boss installed an attic fan in his house, and it made a huge difference. Amazing how much heat an attic can generate even in a well insulated house.
@toadstoolporridge: I'll have a major concussion, but, I won't have to worry about infection!
