Great. Now I’m crying in a McDonald’s. And it's not for any of the usual reasons.

I see no problem with the underwater cameras, I see a problem with freaking out over seeing a woman’s nipple, especially in this context. They’re not sex objects, they’re athletes competing. This view gives a good look at a sport where a lot more happens under the surface of the water than the casual fan realizes.

While it’s easy (and fun!) to paint the Russians as villains, I doubt any of them are even given the option to compete clean.

And for all the eye-rolling this site does at hand-wringing and moral grandstanding that the sports world loves to engage in when it comes to doping, It’s hard for me not to relish King’s defeat of Efimova.

Yes. Good on her for standing fast against those who think we shouldn’t ban cheaters (and will spend the week acting like A-Rod shouldn’t be banned from baseball).

Well fuck, if I asked my boss to transfer, he’d probably kick my ass out as well. He seems pretty happy where he is, so why should I be able to tell him to leave?

I don’t have much sympathy for a 50+ y.o. bro who feels the need to yell so much at a baseball game that he actually gets the attention of an umpire, Bob Davidson or not.

Wait a minute, fans in Philadelphia can get EJECTED?? I’m pretty sure I watched someone murder a guy at the Linc last year and the ushers just told him to tone it down a bit.

I find a politely written “You Suck!” note handed to the ball boy/girl to slip to the umpire is much more personal and fun way to get my message out.
