Strictly Ballroom …. Hands down, my favorite movie of all time.

Ahhhh, okay. I understand.

I know! Aunt Esther was great, wasn't she? She's still one of my all-time favorite TV characters.

LOL. That's hilarious. "Show us your tits." Ha ha ha ha ha!

There was such terrific chemistry among the actors on Sanford & Son, with Redd Foxx, Demond Wilson, LaWanda Page (Aunt Esther), and Whitman Mayo (Grady). I recall particularly enjoying the scenes depicting Fred and Aunt Esther's kerfuffles. So funny.

"This is the big one, Elizabeth! I'm comin' to join ya, honey!"

I absolutely loved Rescue Me. Well, at least the first four or five seasons. In the last couple of seasons, it became a bit repetitive and lost some of the edge of the earlier seasons. But it's a terrific show. I think you'll really enjoy it.

Religion is/religions are not my strong suit, so I can't, in good conscience, comment on much of your post. But the "Trump's base is obviously too stupid" part. Uh, yeah. LOL.

Did you watch Rescue Me? Oh, man, he was so hot, and so damned funny, in Rescue Me.

Yeah, I never could understand why they didn't keep Pasquale around for a while longer, and why they couldn't find more to do with him. I'll tell you what …. I certainly could have found more to do with him ;)

His character, his arc, the storyline, were, perhaps, the worst not only in that show, but in the history of television. It was dreadful. All of it. Dreadful.

Late again, tonight, and, once again, just starting to read the comments, so I don't know if anyone has posted about this yet.

Still?

Don't know if you'll see this post in time to act on it or not, but right now, 5:13 PM, Pacific, Chris Hayes in on MSNBC, and there's a segment, coming up, where he's going to address exactly this issue.

When I first read Patrick's post, I wanted to reply in a vein similar to yours, but I had trouble coming up with the right words. But, yeah …. what you said ….

Hey. Thought I'd use this old thread to let you know that I've made my profile public again, in case you're still experiencing notification delays.

Yaaah, you betcha.

Wow. That's absolutely lovely.

I know that my folks watched Car 54, and I suppose I might have seen a fair amount of it, too, but, as I was 6 when it debuted, I recall nothing of it.
