I paid 1300 for my car and although a 1100$ watch is always a luxury purchase for a luxury consumer, a quality watch can stay with you for decades. My 04 CLK diesel does that, the “button” at the end of the gas pedal forces a downshift. Not always what you want, especially in a diesel, so it’s good to be able to choose.
