I want to tell you all a story. When i was 13 years old i caught rides from school on my buddie’s scooter sometimes. Of course no helmet. Although it was only about half a mile of back alleys, someone spotted me and told my dad about it.

That’s what i was thinking(I’m Portuguese) “these people have no idea the kind of clusterfuck that was avoided”. Thank god for the fire department’s incredible readiness and quick reaction to prevent a much bigger tragedy.
Portuguese cobblestone, the bane of any would be boy racer.
#COTD , that never gets old
Damn, did that thing crash through a Renault junkyard? So many Renault parts... Gorgeous though.
Easy NP this week, for 1700 you could just thrash it’s wheels off until something goes wrong and part the car out. You would be making your money back and then some! Hell, for the price it’s at, you could go the oposite route and spend 8-10k on a top to bottom restoration and just keep the thing forever.
I feel for you man, not having peace in your own home can drain the life out of you so fast.
WTF!? Who stole the moon buggy designs i did in grade school? NP all day for a rare car that is almost guaranteed to come around in value.
True, that kind of money buys you a decent used“kartcross” buggy, same kind of power but with proper off road chops, not to mention a harness and rollcage.
Hella expensive though, makes the whole thing a bit pointless, but hey. Shiny!
3 words, ktm duke 125.
I just call them car muggles
In my top 10 comedy bits ever.
I don’t see it, the people who are into putting bikes together are not the people who buy “brand new “ anything.
Great read, thank you and welcome back.
I’m usually in the “Let the chips fall where they may” boat (get it? because it’s a boat, GET IT? HA!) but let’s be reasonable here, the boat was never going to be called Boaty McBoatface. This way at least it leaves a fitting tribute to a man that inspired a whole generation of conservationists. Kudos for keeping O’l…
Np just for the fact it’s an 82 trans am that hasn’t been hacked up into a haf baked Knight Rider replicar.
Reluctant NP because subaru powered tincan of death.
It’s most unfortunate that today’s racing rules tend to smother inventive design along with the abuses they are meant to control. I fear we will never see another Chaparral.
True, the guy looks like a fucking norse god, so, you know... on principle, fuck that guy. j/k
