To be fair, clam dip is fucking gross.

Every year?

The PETA Effect - acting so obnoxious, it causes people to turn against the cause you're championing.

Or, instead of becoming vegan, just read PETA's press release (and previous campaigns) and drop pounds instantly!

"They feel as though they have nothing to contribute to the conversation." This. Is. The. Problem.

Fan Mail more like Man Fail!

People are afraid to tell the obviously overweight person to put down the cheeseburger? What alternate universe are you in??? In the world that I live in, being fat is the absolute worst thing a person can be. Every type of person, regardless of political stance, race, age, and gender contains a majority who think

I wish we could reframe this whole discussion from "Maria Kang can't tell whether I am healthy or not," to "It's none of her fucking business." Never should people of any size feel that they need to explain their health or lack thereof to another person. I feel like we are tripping over ourselves to be like, "I'm

Her behavior is not normal. Someone who's truly confident in themselves would not put other people down because he or she does not live up to her standards.

You'd be amazed at how many times I got complimented for "getting healthy" and "taking better care of myself" when I was in the midst of a flaming eating disorder.

What I love about Kang is not that she is barking mad and saying the most ridiculously ignorant things ever (though that is pretty hilarious), it's that she's convinced that people are irritated because she's not explaining herself properly, and not that she's a giant asshole.

I would like to +1 the epic eye roll because does anyone actually care about or think about Yoko Ono vis-à-vis The Beatles anymore? Aside from 70 year old stoners, I mean.

I think LaChapelle is making fun of the Kardashians and they are too dense to even realize it.

It feels like that Kardashian Krap may be the most honest thing they have ever done!

This is really, really well said, and thank you for saying it. When I'm feeling particularly generous toward humanity, I wonder if victim-blaming in the wake of sexual assault isn't a result of the same deep fear of the uncontrollable and unavoidable.

Thanks, but I'll wait for the inevitable Walgreens smellalike, eau de Arial. Only $9.99.

What purpose are you serving by wondering that? What point are you trying to make?

Why wonder? If she could, she would have. Since she didn't, she couldn't. As for the specifics of why, it can't have been pleasant: maybe the kid was pinned down by wreckage, maybe impaled, who knows? I wouldn't question the mother's level of care here.

I met Senator Wendy Davis today! I was at the grocery store getting my birthday cake and I saw her. Then I walked up to her and told her thank you and good luck. I almost cried. Why, I don't know. Her husband was very sweet too. Total fan girl moment.

That's the great thing about misogyny: it doesn't have to make sense! Women who work outside the home? Sinful and scandalous! Women who are housewives? Psssh, mere housewives.
