Why would they have rape kits on campus? It’s not a first aid kit, it’s an evidence collection kit that takes at least 3 freaking hours to administer.

I’m not sure I want it to be standard for student health care centers to administer rape kits. They’re not open 24/7, and I assume have less of a relationship with law enforcement, which is where the rape kit needs to get to.

Pretty sure the Crown was as surprised as we were by all this. Although what that says about their prep work isn’t good. I suppose you aren’t supposed to investigate your own witnesses but , wow, this was bad. Not explaining the psychological theories behind this was plain stupid once it came out.

I mean, One of the women admitted to misleading the police during the trial, and the communications between the accusers and Jian is pretty damning.
