I get this feeling from later Community episodes, and even got it a few times in Season 3 where I'm wondering if this was supposed to be better. I usually rewatch an episode and find I enjoy it more once my expectation of "this episode is going to blow me away" has died down.

I for one like that Jeff and Annie's relationship is going seemingly nowhere. They both know how special one is to the other, so my guess is they won't strive for anything more substantial until their lives are a little less reliant on Greendale.

Something that just didn’t sit right with me this entire time; Guvna’s army didn’t sell me on their willingness to fight Rick’s prison. Yes, they laid out some groundwork: Guvna speechified them into doing it, and backstabbed his way into the position where he could do so. The key issue was not really having a sense
