Adding more gas tax won’t actually make the money go to the places it is supposed to go though.... We already make enough revenue from gas tax to make an actual difference if it were actually allocated where it is supposedly intended to be allocated.

It would be, if it wasn’t for the fact that nearly 20% of the Fortune 500 paid no taxes in 2018. Those numbers are up 50% from the year before. And I imagine there will be an even bigger boost when it becomes tax time in the middle of this year.

That’s because going to a grocery store is endangering yourself and others, so you shouldn’t be going to the grocery store unless you need to. That means stock up for as much as you can shop for at once. Fewer trips to the grocery store is better for your health and the health of those around you.
